Donald Joseph Qualls, better known as DJ Qualls is an American actor and producer as well as a fashion model. The actor gained fame following his performance in Road Trip. Since then his appearances have been featured in a total of 20 feature films, such like The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. Also, he's appeared in over 22 TV shows including Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and many more. He is a Hodgkin's cancer survivor who was diagnosed when he was 14 years old. Qualls is a fighter. Two years later, the cancer has gone into the process of remission. The treatment, however, at such an early age left the body with a severe injury as well as hindered his growth. After he began acting as a financial adviser, security for his finances was his ultimate goal. He had experienced poverty in his childhood. I've been so thrifty over the years that I need to have that financial security or else the world seems too much for me he said in an interview. He also considers his childhood and see the ways he can tackle bullies. "Cruelty is a pain to me," he said. The best role for DJ is that of a real-life father. He admits that Directors do not assign me to those roles. He'd love to become an uncle one day in order to spend more time with his child as well as his professional.
